ON BOARD THE NIAGARA.
A BIG SNEEZE. i The following extract is from a letter "from a passenger on the !\;a<rara posted at Fiji to a! friend in Auckland:—"As you know.l ■vve were sent, out in one of the ferry! 'boats to board the Niagara. As wej approached the steamer the whole oil the Australian passengers assembled a≤l near as possible to the gangway, and' ■ttyent off in a prodijrous sneeze for about] ■teii minutes. It ■was really funny, butj it did not deter us from seeking our ■berths. Fortunately there has not been a sneeze since, so we hope to have a clean snip when ■Wβ reach Vancouver.j T'nfortunately it was dark for our last view- or beautiful Auckland. Thej •weather is now getting hot, but most of the passengers are enjoying games. AVe] are told that in the rush to «"ct aivav 531b (or £.">3) of cream and other good sturT -was left on the Manuka: still the' food is very good, and served piping hot.) The Niagara rolled a bit for a couple of; days, and many of the passenirers were sick. We have two trained nurses on iwarJ. but so far their services have not been required. I enjoyed my stay :n Now Zealand immensely: it is a happy time to look back upon, and 1 lope to be out again in tiiv not to far distant future, when 1 trust you will give us better motoring roads, especially, from Auckland to the Waikato. and thence \; Rotorua.
