RE-HEARING REFUSED.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondents HAJITLTON, this day. An application for re-hearing of the case, Fraser v. the Waikato Shipping Company, in which plaintiif claimed £113 10/ for damages alleged to have 1 been sustained to a new bridge at Ngaruawahia by contact with the defendant ; company's steamer, -was refused by Mr ! Burton, S.M., this morning. In the ; original hearing judgment was given for : defendant. Messrs. Fraser's counsel stated I that he now had additional evidence of I eye-witnesses flatly contradicting that given on behalf of the company at tie I original hearing.
