Most of the interest at Remuera on Saturday gathered round the match between College Rifles, the leading team in the competition, and Somervell, one of the two runners-up. The younger side put up a good fight, but the Panes secured an easy win by 8 goals to 1. On the adjoining grounds University defeated Training College by 5 goals to 1, and Edendale got their first win this season, putting St. Luke's down by 4 to 1.
