OTAGO FARMERS PROTEST. (By Telegraph. —Tress Association.) DUNF.DIX, Thursday. At the Farmers' Union conference: a remit was adopted urging tiie Government to cancel all regulations and legislation relating to the growing of wheat, ha soon as the present arrangements expire, and stating that the Union reaffirms its adherence to free trade prln ciples. Another remit, insisting on the free and untrammelled export of farm products as soon as the present Government contracts expire, was agreed to. It was decided to ask the Government to repeal clause 2 of the Rabbi; Act, and that the Fencing Act be amende 1 so that a landowner could compel a neighbour to share the cost oi feiiein"! a boundary in rabbit-infested counts" I with rabbit-netting.
