At the monthly meeting of the Xcv I vnn School Committee, on Wednesday erenin" -i letter was received from tne headmaster, statin? that the teachers could, not take any responsibility for <?eeins tjie school children home after the Peace celebrations on the Domain. The headmaster also complained of the inadequate playing area for the scholars, stating rhat there was only playing area, for ."i0 scholars instrad of :<-0. An application r.vas renewed to the Board of Edtrcatlon for a subsidy on £32 11/6 for It was decided to proceed with the formation of a ,-and court, subject to the money bolus available. The headmaster advised tUe committee that ii- further examination of the school children will lie held at the end of June.
