ESTHONIAN ADVANCE. DECISIVE ACTIONS FOUGHT. 60.000 PRISONERS ; 250 GUNS (Received 0.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 23. The Esthonians are rapidly advancing on I'etrograd. An Esthonian communique considers that the anti-Bolshevik operations of the past month were decisive. Sixty thousand prisoners and 250 guns were taken (A. and N.Z. Cable.) ATTACK IN THE NORTH. BOLSHEVIKS IN FULL RETREAT (Received 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, May 23. General Maynard reports that he attacked on Tuesday the main Bolshevik position. A Slavo-British Allied legion successfully co-operated on the right, the ! Middlesex regiment on the left, and British and Serbians in the centre. The attack, which was supported by strong artillery along the railway, drove the j Bolsheviks out of their position at Lutubuski. It is believed that the enemy is in full retreat. The pursuit is continuing southward. The Italians have reiuforced our lino.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.) DRAFTS FOR ARCHANGEL. (Received 10.20 a.m.) LONDON. May 23. Largp drafts of troops continue to sail for Archangel.
