NEW STATE COLLIERY.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The Acting-Prime Minister, Sir James Allen, has advised Mr. J. T. M. Hornsby, M.P., that Cabinet has agreed to the establishment of a new colliery near Nine-mile Point, West Coast, and steps will be taken to put in hand the construction of the necessary branch railway as early as possible.
