MAY DAY RIOTS.

EXCITEMENT IN PARIS. MANY HEADS BROKEN. NEW YORK, May 2. Infantry and cavalry reinforced the gendarmerie to prevent the May Day demonstrators marching on tn Place dt la Concorde. Firemen turnecl hoses or the crowd, who twice broke the military cordons. Many heads were broken ir baton charges. Another riotous crowc shouted, "Down with the Government.' The riots continued during the night. Demonstrators then attempted to barri cade the streets, bul mounted met charged them. A great number wen wounded, including M. I'achin, a mem ber of the Chamber of Deputies, and th' editor of "La Humanite." and n mnni'-i pal councillor. Shots lired by the mol wounded three policemen. POLICEMEN SHOT IN BOSTON (Received 1(1.35 a.m.) NEW YORK. May 2.
