WRECKAGE ASHORE.
BETWEEN" NAPIER AND WAIROA. Tile local Superintendent of Marine (Captain Fleming) has received advice that a small quantity of wreckage has hern found on Waikare beach, between Napier and Wairoa. The wreckage consists of broken kauri timbers, apparently the upper part of a kauri-built vessel. Some of the timbers are painted red with white bands.
