SIXTEEN WEEK-END DEATHS.

662 CASES DTJHING THE WEE (Received 11.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The week-end proved the worst influenza period yet experienced, there being a sudden increase in virulence. On Saturday and Sunday 83 cases and 16 deaths wore reported, making totals of 6G2 cases and 23 deaths for the week.
