MILITARISM IN GERMANY.

HOPES OF RECONSTRUCTION. YON KLUCK WARNS ALLIES. BERLIN, March 23. Yon Kluck. who is living in a small flat, when interviewed, expressed the opinion that the reconstruction of Germany's military power would be possible, but not for the moment. "Think,"' he said, "what the Prussian army was after Jena, but it was built up again. The Allies would do well to remember this lesson, but the interests of all are so intermingled that one can only wish for it long peace." Herr Maximilian Harden, interviewed, said that the present German Oovernment should and will be overthrown. The Kaiser could regain the throne if he were not a coward. The success of the League of Nations and of the world peace depended upon close and friendly relations between Gernniny, Britain and the United .States. The Rotterdam correspondent of the New York "Times" states that a well informed person in Oermany expects that worse conditions will soon obtain in Berlin. The Ked> have already planned a new nation-wide strike to commence on Tuesday. Apparently, despite Herr Noske's victory, (he Bolsheviks gain strength through the country.—(A. and N.Z. tabic.)
