SETTLING THE TYPE. NEW YORK, March 23. Mr. Josephus Daniels, Secretary for the Navy, bus sailed for Europe, accompanied by naval experts, for the purpose of studying the best type of ships for the American navyMr. Daniels will also study naval aviation problems in France, England, and other countries. The London correspondent of the New York "Times" says he learns that the Admiralty will heartily welcome Mr. Daniels, who will be shown the dockyards and the British fleet, and will he fully informed of latest developments and devices. — (A. and N_Z.)
