BERLIN STREET FIGHTING.

TWO CURIOUS INCIDENTS. LONDON, March 21. The Berlin correspondent of the "Sunday Express" states that two curious incidents occurred in the fighting in the streets. The grenades used by the Government troops did not explode, and their cartridges were found to be full of sand. Both were manufactured by Spartacist workmen at Spandau. The second was that a number of Government horses were shot down, and while bullets were whizzing overhead, people emerged from houses and hacked the horses to pieces for food. In some instances they did not wait until the animals were dead. — (A. and, N.Z. Cable.)
