SICKNESS ON WESTLAXD. (Hy Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Thursday. Men engaged in discharging cargo on tbe steamer Westland slopped work today on account of a rumour that there had been a case of influenza on board. On hearing of tbe occurrence tbe men discharging the Dunsyre, which was alongside the Wcstland. aiso slopped work. The Wcstland was fumigated, and it was stated on behalf of the men that they would resume to-morrow morning. | *
