A meeting of the administrative coun- ! cil of the Rights of Childhood league wa s hold en Saturday, 13th inst., in Wellesley Chambers (Mr. W. Murdoch in the chair). The League was started some three weeks ago, and Mr. E. Hunter, secretary, in his report stated that rapid progress was being made. Tne work of research is bringing many appalling conditions existing within and around our public school life before the consideration of all earnest and thoughtful men and women. Arrangements arc being made to give a public demonstration of the serious state of our schools by one of the most advanced educationists in Xew Zealand.
