PROHIBITION CAMPAIGN.
ADDRESS BY MR. BRUNTNELL. An address on the No-license question was delivered at the Strand Theatre last evening by Mr. A. Bmntnell, M.L.A., before, a large audience. Mr. Bruntnell has been an advocate of temperance for some 30 years, and gave an interesting and eloquent address, in the course ot which he dealt with the effects •of the J drink trafiic on the community as shown I by the experiences of the past. He contended that three effects were such that thinking people could not (io otherwise than support prohibition. In the afternoon he spoke at the V.M.C.A., on the subject of ''What is a Wowser?"
