TWO-YEAR-OLD TRIALS.
INTERESTING TRACK GALLOPS. BY LOCAL YOUNGSTERS. The two-year-old trials promoted by the Auckland Ra_:tg Oluu to enable the local trainers to give the youngsters under their charge a gallop on the course proper over three furioogs with the silk up, took place at Kllerslle on Saturday afternoon. The weather was flue, and the argument used by some people that it was the betting that attracted the public was not borne out, for the attendance was very large, aud the keenest Interest was taken iv the doings of ihe young horses.
