SHIP'S FIREMAN DROWNED.
!A fireman named "William was drowned, off Queen Street wharf, last evening, lie and another man were going up the gangway of their ship, when th-ey decided to return to the wharf. As they turned round both fell over the gangway ropes into the harbour. The alarm was given quickly, and. Farrow's companion was rescued, hut the former was not seen again, and the dragging operations were commenced immediately the body rynhi not be recovered.
