Tlie work of the Presbyterian Social Service Association is dealt with at length ill a report to be submitted at the fourth annual meeting of members this evening by the Rev. F. K. Jeffreys, superintendent. During the last 12 months fSO first offenders were received, and only two of the number again got into trouble. Commendation is also given to Mrs. Drew, matron of the Door of Hope, for the care of girls put under her charge. The Boye' Home Building Fund is being pushed on with. At the meeting of the General Assembly in Dunedin in 1917 the balance of the Fraser bequests over .CIOOO was voted to the Auckland P.S. SJV., which had been invested by the Church Property Trustees und the interest paid to the association. During the year 44 boys had licen in residence.
