THE BURGLARY CASES,
ACCUSED MEN REMANDED.
The live, young men, James Daverfl (20), Edward J. McLellan (21), Patrocfc Gunn (22), Charles P. MeCormick (IS), and Walter Papeseh (20), who were arrested last week on charges of burglary and theft, in connection with, a, series of recent safe-bursting episodes! came before Messrs. J. P. MaPhail, C. H. Furness, and T. (jubb, JJP.'e, frhi* morning, and were remanded till Wednesday of next week for triaL Bail was refused in all cases except that of Papesoh, whe was bailed in one surety of £100. Thos. Wm. Gunn (21), charged with receiving, and Alexander Robert Gunn (30), charged with, breaking and entering the premises of the New Zealand Boot Factory on July 4, were also remanded till the same date, bail being allowed in each case in two sureties of £100 each.
