St. Aidan's Parish Church. Remuera, has been enlarged by lengthening the nave find by the addition of a spacious vestry room, suitable also for the smaller parish meetings. This new part will he opened on Sunday. The ftishop of Auckland will attend, and lie will also dedicate a memorial tablet wh'ie'n has been erected. tn the memory of Kdgar Woodward Boucher, who left with the Main Body, and fell in action last October. The memorial, which has engraved upon it the badge of the College Rifles, records that tic obeyed the call of liis country in the first week of the grout ! war. The roll of honour of this church* has 120 name?, of whom ltj have made the supreme sacrifice. Wolfe's Schnapps has cleansing action on the kidneys and bladder.— (Ad.) |
