PROGRESS IN SIBERIA.
BOLSHEVIKS DEFEATED. (Received 2.45 ii.m.) NEW YORK, August 29. The "New York Times" Peking correspondent states that General SemenofTs resumed the offensive with Czech reinforcements and drove the Bolsheviki from Natsievski, a station west of Menchuli. Many Bolsheviki were taken prisoners. The correspondent adds that the Japanese arc fighting at Daiiris ,and that the Chinese are not opposing Japanese..presence in Manchuria. — (A. and N.Z.)
