FRENCH TRIBUTE MOVEMENT

The committee having in charge the educational side of the French Tribute Movement, after meeting the Headmasters' .Association last week, have now definitely arranged for some 14 gentlemen, who are well-known public speakers, to address the. various city schools on Wednesday next. The speakers will impress upon the minds of tile children the debt we owe to France for her deeds in the field and her great sacrifices.

The proposal to march 8,000 school children up Queen Street antl through Myere Park on the anniversary of the Marne, September 6, has been abandoned. It has now been arranged that about 12.000 school children will gather on the anniversary day in the various parks nearest the respective schools, where they will be cinematographed and the films sent to France.
