MONBSOUTH MINERS' THREAT. (Received 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, August 2S. Monmouthshire miners threaten to strike unless a larg-er allowance of cheese, butter, and jam is forthcoming. Mr Winstone, the Welsh miners' president, informed Air J. R. Glynes (Food Controller) that if any stoppage occurs Mr Olyncs will be responsible.— (United Service.)
