MEETING OF - EXECUTIVE.

A meeting of the Auckland Rugby League was held In the League room . last I evening. Mr Jas Carlaw presided, others present being Messrs. Sullivan, X. Cntpnn. Frost, Ross. Feldng. Boswcll. Roope Ball, I. Cnlpan, Pollock, Powell, Whitley. I McDevitt. The Ponsonby United Football Club notified that the Ponsonb.v Boys' Brass Band would parade and march to' the Domain on i Saturday, and It was decided to thank the band for their services. | A letter was received from the Sanders -Memorial Fund thanking, the League fori their offer of the collection of one Satur- 1 day at Victoria Park. It was decided that the takings at the match to be played at Victoria Park on, August 1., less expenses, be donated to Mr S. Jones, who was injured last year in | the match Railway v. Ponsonby at the Domain. An open transfer was granted to A. i Asher from the City Club. The following transfer was granted:— ' J. H. Madigan from Otahuhu to Maritime Club. ' Messrs. Ileckland. of the Otahuhu Club, was cautioned for foul play in match City v. Otahuhu, sixth grade, and H. A. Seehert. of the Parnell Club, was disqualified until the end of June. Will, for striking a player in the Manukau v. Richmond match.
