Mr Herman Bernstein, an American editor and correspondent, who has arrived from Russia, whore he studied the conditions of the country, interviewed, stated that unless the Allies intervent in Russia and save her from Germany, the Allies may lose the war. Nine-tenths of the population ■ of Russia favour Allied intervention, military and economic. A few divisions of troops arriving in Russia this summer I would enable the nation to reorganise and resist Germany. The conditions in Moscow and Petrograd were extremely bad. lien were shot down by Bolse.viki agents in order to terrorise the masses.
