FARMER COMMITS SUICIDE.
(By Telegraph.Press Association i ASHBCRTON, this day. Edward Henry Shirley, aged 4ti, farmer, of Ban-hill, missing from home since Wednesday morning, was founo' yesterday morning in a plantation, a quarter of a mile from home, with the top of his skull blown off. A doublebarrelled gun was found clasped by both his hands, a string being tied round both legs and attached to the trigger. It is understood he had been melancholy of late.
