The report on Saturday respecting a charge of theft of £8 4/ against Thomas Helme was incorrect in that it stated that Helme had repaid all the money but o/10. He had repaid £2, an d promised the balance, and the magistrate ordered that 5/10, which Helme had on him when arrested, be paid to the complainant Ernest McDowell, and that the balance be naid later to McDowell.
