WAIHI. The following cable has been sent to the head office of the Waihi G.M. Co., London: "No. 10 level: North section. Empire lode — In the Cow south-east crosscut to the north at 50ft east of Cow crosscut, the last 26ft is country rock. The east drive has been extended 20ft, to 70ft cast of Cow crosscut. The average value Is £1 14/3, and the average width 3ft. In the crosscut to the south at 50ft west of Cow crosscut the last 12ft averages 6/5 per ton. The west drive lias been extended -Bft, to 70ft west of Cow crosscut. The average value ls £1 9/0 I per ton and the average width 3ft.
