RESERVES WILL PREVENT EXPLOITATION OF SUCCESS,
(Received 2-10 p.m.) PARIS, May 28. A eemi-official message says that the enemy gained the initial advantage in the new battle north of the Aisnc. The battle continues desperately, and while the Allied troops are contesting the ground foot by foot, our reserves are arriving and will prevent the enemy exploiting his first success, and hold him on the final line of resistance M. Clemcnccau, -the Premier, conversing with members of the Chamber of Deputies, indicated that this battle was only a diversion,; the main attack was still tt\ come. — (Rcutcr.)
