PRELIMINARY DRAW. A meeting of the Auckland Rugby League was held on Wednesday, April 17, In the evening. Present: J. Cat-low (chairman), J. Endean, G. Whitley, T. Sullivan, A. Ball, E. Frost. W. Ross, R. Pollack, N. Culpan, T. Fielding, and R. Spinley (secretary). The Auckland City Council wrote granting tie- use of the No. 1 ground at the Domain, and Mr. J. H. Cannon wrote accepting the position of patron to the League. A notice of motion i given by Mr. Pollock, and tabled on Aorll :t and circulated among the delegates, was road. Mr. Pollock stated that his motion dealt entirely with the present constitution of the League, and would not affect new clubs. Carried. Notice of motion tabled by Mr. Benson, providing that a quorum of the League be seven members was read anil paused. .Notice of niotlou tabled by MrBenson for addition of rules was read and pas-sod. Notice of motion relating to the formation of a committee of inquiry to 8° into the cases of suspended players was struck out. Messrs. Endean and Ross were appointed a Finance Committee, aud Messrs.
