ARTILLERY DUELS ON THE FRENCH FRONT.
(Received 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, March 24. A French communique reports artillery actions, sometimes violent, south of the Qise and also in the region of Rheims and Lorraine, between Hanacourt and the Vosges. An enemy coup de main'was attempted at Hertwlaeh Wood, in Upper Alsace, but it broke down rmder our flre.--(A. and N.Z. and Reuter.)
