SUPPLIES OF BENZINE.
With the arrival in Auckland of a large shipment of benzine, and the early prospect of another cargo, consumers are anticipating an improvement in the supply and an easing in the restriction assumed by the oil merchants in distributing stocks. It is advisable, .however, to , extend a word of caution. i Applications made by purchasers have elicited the information that shipments are few and far between, and immediate, stocks arriving will merely keep the trade supplied on a limited basis until the arrival of later vessels.
