St. Enoch's Presbyterian Church, Morn- j ingside, eelehrated its twelfth anniver- ! vereary on .Sunday last. It wae exactly twelve years on 14th inst. since the' I foundation-stone of the building was laid ■by Mr. Duncan Macphereon (until recently litv Missionary). Special services were conducted on Sunday under the 1 auspices of the Sabbath School—the morning service by the Rev. Geo. Budd, of St. Paul's, Devonport; the afternoon J>y the Rev. J. Pattieon, of Sommerville Memorial Church; and in the evening by the Rev. D. J. Albert, minister of the church. The evening service wae largely attended, the seating accommodation of both church and adjoining hall beinij fully taxed—an unprecedented occurrence. The singing by the children was much appreciated.
