The ever- ! changing harmonic passages and endlesi variety of Lemare's "Adagio Paietico" i were fully presented, and a light aud (lying reading was given of the "Scherzo." , (Ircbestrally treated was Thomas' overture j to "Raymond," and the chorus reeds were effectively used in Wely's "Offertoire." |' Miss Laura Stone, who possesses a con-i tralto voice of ringing timbre and richness, j was heard In tasteful renderings of Sanderson's "The Glory of the Sea," Barus' '.
