RUSSIANS DRIVEN BACK SOUTH OF PSKOFF.
ENEMY RENEWS ATTEMPTS AT FRATERNISATION. (Received 1.50 p.m.) LONDON, October 11. A Russian official message say.:—ln the Riga region the enemy pressed back some of our companies southward of the Pskoff high road, and also attempted to fraternise south-east of Jacobstadt. In Armenia we captured the villages of Marufa and Tubal, westward of Urmia, releasing two hundred Syrians. The enemy fled across the Great Zab, destroying three bridges.—(Admiralty, per Wireless.)
