KFIXED IX COMMITTI-IK. (By Telecrapb.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Reserve and Public Bodies Lmpowering Bill, the main object of which is to vest the bed oi St. John's Lake. together with an area of land adjoining in the Auckland City Council, us public park and recreation ground, lias been guillotined by the Local Bills Committee, the only clause left being the last, which empowers the Council and Hospital Board to exchange certain lands in the Domain, near Stanley Street. The Committee reported the bill to-day.
