OBITUARY.
-MR. ERNEST LIVERMORE. The many friends of Mr. Ernest Livermore will learn with regret that his loath took place early yesterday corning. Mr. Livermore wae "in India icfore coming to New Zealand, and ivhile there held a major's commission n the Militia. He was afterwards in he Registrar-Generals Department at Wellington, and was transferred, about sight years ago, to Auckland, where he illed the position of Deputy-Registrar of 3irths, Deaths and Marriages, Registrar if Electors for Auckland West, and since ;he war was also Passport Officer. Mr. Evermore was recognised as a most >ain.itaking, thorough officer. He is lurvived by his widow, one son and one laughter, tne latter being a, nurse in he Auckland Hospital. The eon, Mr. 'ercy Stafford Livermore, is on active ervice. Mr. Livermore was a prominent nember of the Masonic fraternity.
