RAILWAYMEN'S HOURS.
(Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, August 16. In the House of Commons, Sir Albert Stanley (President of the Board of ■ Trade) said that the Board was unable, r under war conditions, to grant an eight--1 hour for railwaymen. He trusted that > the men would not jeopardise the prope--3 cution of the war.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
