AUCKLAND MILITARY POLICE.
The Auckland military police, now that voluntary recruiting for the First Division has ceased, have the power to slop civilians and request them to produce their certificates of enrolment, as has been done on numerous occasions. L'p to the present they have not met anyone who has been unable to produce the require.l card. Any person found wearing military clothing is liable to be stopped by the police, while soldiers who a.re dressed incorrectly are likewise liable to be stopped.
