The recent prohibition of the shipping of gold from New Zealand brings the export down to a value of £95 ordinary and £40 free gold. During June of 1916 £65,102 worth of gold left this port. Of silver, £15,391 worth has left here during the month, while during June of 1916 the larger figure was £20,366.
