KAITAIA. The annual meeting or the Mungonnl AgriculturaJ and Pastoral Association ivu held at Kaltala on Uth lust. Mr F. Holder, president, occupied tile chair. Four uieuibers were nominated for the position of president, and a ballot resulted iv tbe election of Colonel Alleu Bell. There were nix nominations for the position of rice-presl-dents, Messrs. K. Saunders and F, Holder being elected. Mr K. H. S. Matthews was elected auditor, Mr J. L. Hester treasurer, and Mr E. J. Samuel secretary. Colonel Bell, In returning thanks, outlined his proposals for the advancement of the Association, which were of a most progressive nature, lie expressed the opiuiou that with such a splendid district surrounding them they could, with- etilcient organisation, run one of the best country shows lv the province. The following executive wu» elected; Messrs. W. N. 1-erktos, J. L. Hunter, It, l<,. Morpeth, A. C. Ductus, U Be". I C. S. Puckey, J. U. Bedggood. Colonel Bell presented two uaah prtxci of fiuu and £10 for the best dairy farm aud collection of faruier - a produce re»pecavely.
