TRENCH LUXURY.
A FANTASTIC PALACE. ROME, June 14. A correspondent on the Trentino front states tbat in the recent fighting the Italians captured luxurious Austrian dug-outs stocked with liquors and chocolates, and a huge fantastic mountain palace 10 storeys in height. Scores of natural caverns had been transformed into saloons, dormitories, and storerooms, capable of accommodating 20 battalions. The general's quarters consisted of 10 rooms, furnished with Oriental luxury. The Italians srtiprises 40 officers at dinner and captured them. — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
