WATHI RETURN". £27,48S FOR THE MON"-fl". The return from the Waihi mine for the month ended June 2nd was £27,488, the result of the treatment of 16,007 tons of ore. This brings the total output from the Waihi mine to date up to £11,578,031, out of which £4.1)20.341 !)/8 has been paid to shareholders in dividends.

KI'RAXUI. A few pieces of stone from the Kuranui mine are on view at the office of the secretary. Mr. W. .1. Xicho], Victoria Arcade. This atone is from a 4in leader in the Ross level, where driving is being done to cut a :!ft reef met with by tributers in an adjacent mine. The stone on view is of good class, well mineralised, and shows colours of pold. In his report the manager states that the quartz met witb is in excellent mineralised country, and some pieces broken from a leader showed strong dabs and blotches of gold. This quartz was got towards the floor of the drive. If the present country last until the Ross reef is cut, the manager 6tates tliat good results should follow.
