ACCIDENTS.
A married man named William Lewis, 44 years of age, residing at Birkenhead, was admitted to the hospital this afternoon, suffering from a fractured wrist. He was putting some belting up at his work, at Messrs. Fowler's, Klliott Street, when he fell, fracturing his left wrist. A 6chooJ boy, Tracey Burgess, from the Auckland Grammar School, was also admitted to the hospital this afternoon, as the result of falling in a pit near the school He is suffering from a broken ankle, and abrasions to his back. A man named Harris was admitted to the hospital this afternoon in a serious condition. He wei looking out of a. port hole on a launch, when ha was caught round the neck by a rope. His full name is not at present available.
