David Shaw |4S) was fined 20 , in default 72 hours'; Herbert A. Bern.- (32) and Harry Treanor (46) were each lined 40. in" default seven days'; Thos. Hy. Massicks (.34), who had a scalp wound that necessitated a doctor's attention when he was picked up drunk, had to pay half a guinea medical fee in addition to a fine of 40/Alexr. McCallmn (03), who came up for' the third time recently, was sentenced to fourteen days' imprisonment. MISCELLANEOUS. Jane Quian (0(1), on a charge of haying loitered in Grey Street for the purposes of prostitution, was .sentenced to six months' imprisonment. Wiremu Te Whetu. a ]nitl<lle-aged Maori, charged that he had this morning assaulted a conductor on an Onehunga tram, was remanded till Wednesday, bail being allowed in a surety of ilo.
