TO ATTAIN WAR AIMS. BRITAIN'S ACCORD WITH FRANCE. LOXDOX, June 8Replying to a question in the House of Commons, .Sir George Cave (Secretary of State for Home Affairs) stated the Government, the House, and the country completely ngreed with the statements of the Allied aims named in the French Chamber of Deputies. He promised to convey to Mr Bonar Law a suggestion that the House should show its entire accord with the French statement. Mr Philip Snowden asked: Do vie understand the Allies are prepared to continue lighting, regardless of other considerations, until these aims arc attained? (Cries of "Yes.") Sir fieorge Cave replied that Mr Snowden must take the answer given as absolute.— (Router.) FRENCH SENATE UNANIMOUS.. PARIS, June 8. After hearing M. Ribot's speech, declaring that France would never agree to a peace without reparation and the resti- j tution of the "lost provinces," the Senate adopted unanimously a vote of confidence I in the Government affirming that peace was possible only on the lines laid down in the speech.—(A. and X.Z.
