Union Steam ordinary issue advanced this morning to sales at 59/ and 59/3, with further buyers at the former figure. Waihi shares sold at 34/6. Moat investment stocks maintained late values, and buyers of New Zealand insurance advanced to 160/6, while for South British 118/ was offered. Taupiri Coal had another advance to-day, buyers offering as high as 16/6, but sellers wanted 17/. N.Z. Drug were inquired for at 50/, and Auckland Gas could have been placed at 29/3. BUSINESS DONE.
