BORON IN MILK.

A milk supplier named Harry Jarvis was charged at the Magistrate's Court to-day on two informations of having sold milk containing boron compound. The Crown Prosecutor asked that a heavy penalty be imposed. The defendant had previously heeii convicted for adding water to milk. These prosecutions. he said, were becoming 1 numerous, and would be no effective de--3 terrent unless heavy fines were imposed.
