When Tragedy King injured himself while schooling at Ellerslie, just previous to the A.B.C. autumn meeting, his ownertrainer, D. Moraghan, was hopeful of saving him. Tetanus, however, set in and the services of Mr. H. Alder were called in, and it was deemed necessary to shoot the son of Soult. Tragedy King wag a good performer, and the loss is a .serious one to his owner.
